Gabriella Mendez recently graduated from the University of California Santa Barbara with a degree in English and a specialization in Literature and the Mind. During her time there she was a member of the Engaging Humanities fellowship, taking a special interest in trauma related and trauma informed literature. She typically writes on the intersections of feminism and pop-culture, with a particular interest in internet trends. In her free time she can often be found embroidering, journaling, or playing video games.
